Bei Art Journal Journey lautet die Challenge im Juni "Inspired by ...", das Thema von der lieben Gill - gibbyfrogettcraftations.
Inspiriert vom Song "Wild, wild horses" von den Rolling Stones und von Nancy Reyner's Buch "Leuchtend in Acryl" entstand meine Doppelseite:
In der Sonne fotografiert.
Im Schatten fotografiert.
Nancy Reyner verwendet in ihrem Buch echtes Blattgold. Ich dachte, es geht mit Schokolade-Folie ebenfalls, weil sie sowieso übermalt wird und auf jeden Fall preisgünstiger ist :)
Übermalt mit einem Gemisch aus 1 Teil schwarzer Acrylfarbe + 1 Teil Kupferfarbe + 2 Teile Acrylbinder + etwas Trocknungsverzögerer (Retarder). Dieser Farbauftrag wird mit einem feuchten Schwamm teilweise wieder abgewischt:
Die weißen Pferde skizzierte ich mit Neocolor II Wachskreide, füllte diese Umrisse mit Wasser und weißer Tinte - Liquitex und malte mit einem Pinsel die weiße Farbe in die Details.
Das ist die Doppelseite mit den aufgeklebten Schokolade-Papieren.
This is magnificent, Rike. I've used chocolate foils a bit but never made anything like this. The background is out of this world. And the white horses! These are marvellously skilful drawings. Interesting to see the photos, one in the shade and in the sun, the way the beautiful colours subtly change.

I must not purchase the same type chocolate as you, because I've never seen this type of gold foil before. It certainly gives the spread a wonderful glow. It looks so different in the shade, too. Thank you so much for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey.

I'm glad you took some photos outside as that really shows the wonderful colour and textures and the foil coming through. And it was interesting to see all the different foils you used - it must have been fun collecting them and having to eat the chocolate :)
