  1. Oh Rike, this is SO clever and incredibly unique. I love that you used an old telephone book to create all your lovely characters, fence, and flowers. It is an adorable and dreamy spread, and both Bleubeard and I give it two thumbs up. Thanks for joining us at Art Journal Journey today, too.

  2. Nice Rike. I think making your images with the printed paper really makes them interesting. I love that little kitty too.Smart to make her solid as she pops off the page. Happy Friday. Hugs-Erika

  3. Thank you for sharing another fabulous page and what inspired you with AJJ dear Rike!
Thats a great idea to use images from magazines to make templates and good to recycle old telephone directories in that way :)
Happy Friday and I hope you have a lovely weekend too.

  9. I love this, Rike, it's just my thing.
It's a sweet picket fence with its own bird (or maybe the bird thinks it is its own fence). The cat is not at all worried by the huge dragonfly. Painting on the newsprint gives the colours and design that extra oomph.

    1. That should be phonebook print, my keyboard has a strange mind of its own. A great way to use old phone books (which are no longer issued here).

  10. Lovely transformation of the "stuff we throw out." I love the dragonfly.
