Dear Bleubeard and Elizabeth, I have painted a rocking horse especially for you for Christmas!
'Tis the Season
Last year (?) I read on your blog that you are collecting rocking horses.
Ich begann eine Bleistiftskizze auf einem Gelli-Druck (den ich in mein Artjournal bereits vor zwei Jahren einklebte, haha - so lange oder länger ruhen meine angefangenen Seiten):
Das malte ich dann mit Deckfarben (gouache) an:
Das ist ja ein H*I*T Rike! Dein Schaukelpferd ist so schön --und das mit einfachen Deckfarben! Genial gemacht -- ich bin auch begeistert wie Du den Christbaum rausgearbeitet hast! Und sogar die Christbaumspitze, der Stern, ist dreidimensional! Sagenhaft!

Good idea making a set of backgrounds in advance to use later. I sometimes do this and then decide they are "too good" to use, so they sit in the journal by themselves. Crazy, eh?
AntwortenLöschenI do like your rocking horse very much and I'm sure Elizabeth was very pleased with your idea. You've managed to make a fine Christmas tree too with baubles and a super star, so that makes a lovely Christmas painting and a Christmas card.
